Spigen launches charging dock stand for Steam Controller

Spigen has announced a new Steam accessory, specifically for the new Steam Controller. Called the Spigen Charging Dock Stand, the accessory is yet to appear on the manufacturer's own website, but can already be purchased on Amazon.

The Spigen Charging Dock Stand is designed to hold the charging puck that comes with the Steam Controller. The charging puck slots into the stand, which has a non-slip base to keep it in place. Once the puck is inserted into the stand, users can charge their Steam Controller by placing it on the dock, which securely holds the controller.

The new accessory measures 2.56 x 2.56 x 1.18 inches and weighs about 90 grams. Based on its design, it will be impossible to have the Steam Controller return to its charging station using the Steam Controller Auto-Charge web app.

Spigen says the dock has a 10° viewing angle so that the controller is at a natural angle when charging. It also says there is a soft TPU cushion around the contact areas that prevent scratches from repeated docking. The Spigen Charging Dock is priced at $14.99 on Amazon and comes in black.

The Charging Dock Stand is Spigen's first accessory for the Steam Controller, although the popular accessory manufacturer has a handful of accessories for the Steam Deck.
