The G309 Lightspeed is Logitech's latest gaming mouse, which comes with an interesting price-performance ratio. The mouse weighs just 68 grams without the battery and can be used in conjunction with the Logitech Powerplay mouse pad without ever having to charge the mouse.
Alternatively, the mouse can be fitted with a single AA battery, which increases the weight to 86 grams, but should also provide the mouse with a battery life of over 300 hours in Lightspeed mode or even 600 hours when connected via Bluetooth, although the latency via Bluetooth is slightly longer. The Lightspeed USB receiver offers a polling rate of 1,000 Hz, and one dongle can connect up to two devices.
Logitech installs a HERO 25K sensor that supports a sensitivity of 25,600 DPI and a speed of 400 IPS. A highlight of the equipment are the optical-mechanical hybrid switches, which Logitech calls 'Lightforce'. These switches are said to be particularly reliable, responsive and durable. The mouse has a total of six programmable buttons, the function of which can be customized in the Logitech G Hub software.
