Lenovo relaunches 15-inch gaming laptop globally with new version

Lenovo has quietly refreshed its budget 15-inch gaming laptop range with a new version of the LOQ 15. To recap, the company updated the LOQ 15 in January 2026 during CES 2026. Although the laptop arrived later that month in Europe, it took until the start of May for the new LOQ 15 to reach North America.
Nonetheless, Lenovo has now updated the LOQ 15 globally. This time, the company has focused on visual tweaks to help distinguish the LOQ 15AHP11 from the existing LOQ 15AHP10 that we reviewed almost a year ago (curr. $1,099 on Amazon). Specifically, the LOQ 15 is now available in Surge Green, which Lenovo contrasts with a black keyboard and black display bezels.
The new release surrounds its rear-facing ports with a black trim, too. Other than that, the Surge Green finish extends across the rest of the laptop and onto an optional 2.4 GHz wireless mouse. The new LOQ 15 can be configured with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 (8 GB) laptop GPU and 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM.
However, a 60 Wh battery comes with all SKUs, as does a Ryzen 7 250 APU with 8 Zen 4 CPU cores and 16 threads and its disposal. Lenovo continues to include a 15.3-inch IPS display too that combines a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB colour space coverage, but only 300 nits peak brightness. Pricing starts at CAD 2,269, $1,644.98, £1,600 and €1,589-€1,899 in the Eurozone.
