The transformable Lenovo Yoga Mouse offers multiple utilization thanks to an innovative hinge that allows the user to turn the V-shaped mouse into a flat laser presenter. The mouse has been designed to be ultra-portable: It has a starting weight of 0.14 lbs (63g), measures 4.37 x 2.25 x 0.55 inches (111 x 57.1 x 14 mm – W/D/H), and it can easily fit into a shirt or jacket pocket.
The Lenovo Yoga Mouse has four buttons: right click, left click, scroll click, and on-the-fly DPI adjustment (1600/1200/800). The manufacturer claims the optical sensor offers high-precision movement on almost any surface. The iron-gray device also has a physical on/off switch and has a button life of up to three million clicks.
The mouse/laser presenter has an integrated rechargeable battery, and Lenovo states two months of battery life after a two-hour charge (the device has a USB Type-C charging port and comes with a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable). With dual-mode support for both Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2.4 GHz wireless USB dongle, users shouldn’t face any problems when using the mouse with different devices.
Lenovo has stated that the Yoga Mouse with laser presenter will be available some time in the second quarter of 2019, with a starting price of €69.99 (in Germany).
