Lenovo debuted world-first 16-inch WQXGA (or QHD) laptop displays in its latest Legion 7 gaming machine. Its Ryzen 7 5800H-equipped SKUs are now available on the US market, starting at US$1,800. Its Intel counterpart (the Legion 7i Gen 6) has also now been released to the same OEM website.

The Legion 7 (Gen 6 AMD) and Legion 7i Gen 6 features the series' inaugural matte 16-inch QHD display, which has also been enhanced with a 165Hz refresh rate with a 3 millisecond (ms) response-time, along with other impressive buzzwords such as NVIDIA G-SYNC and Dolby Vision.

Now, this new panel has been made available to US customers, as well as the rest of the Legion 7-series' intenals. They include a Ryzen 7 5800H processor, combined with 16GB of DDR4-3200MHz RAM and a 512GB PCIe SSD. 6GB of RTX 3060 graphics are also present in this single SKU, now orderable for US$1,799.99.

Things get slightly more complicated should a consumer perfer the Legion 7i Gen 6. It has Core i7-11800H/RTX 3060 SKUs with the same RAM/storage specs of the Legion 7, for the same price. However, there is a second option here that steps up to an i9-11980HK, a 16GB RTX 3080 card, double the RAM and 2TB of internal storage. It is priced at $3,329.99 on Lenovo's US website.
