Just recently, Lenovo announced it was bringing the Legion Y700 (2023) gaming tablet to Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) markets under the model name “Legion Tab”. The press release for the 8-inch tablet specified a release in March with a price tag of €599 ($653) for the Eurozone but with no details for the UK offered. However, the 8.8-inch Lenovo Legion Tab is now listed on the UK site for the considerable sum of £499 (£525 with a Lenovo folio case). Lenovo US is not currently listing the tablet, but gamers in that market could take a closer look at the Lenovo Legion Go device instead (from $699 on Amazon).

Fortunately, there is sweetener in the deal for tempted tablet afficionados in the UK, Germany, and other select markets. If you happen to be making a first order on the official Lenovo site for your country, then you can sign up for a decent 10% discount on the Legion Tab. By just entering an email address and name, you will receive a bespoke coupon code that you add during the purchasing stage. In the case of the UK site, this brings the Lenovo Legion Tab price down by £49.99 to £450. If you want the model with the Lenovo folio case, then the eCoupon will knock £52.50 off the total, leaving £472.50 to pay.

The Lenovo Legion Tab is a formidable tablet, sporting 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. However, it is the screen that is really a highlight, with the Legion Tab coming with a 2.5K display capable of rendering images at 144 Hz, ideal for gaming. The 8-inch Android tablet could be one of the few actual worthy challengers for the iPad Mini 6, which has dominated this particular area of the tablet market due to its handy size, powerful package, and reasonable price point (from £569 in the UK). Lenovo has undercut that price and even offered a discount on a just-released tablet, with free shipping estimated at 6-9 days.
