Latest 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller now officially release in celebration of new triple-A game

8BitDo has officially released the latest version of its Ultimate 2 wireless controller after opening pre-orders last month. For context, the company has also introduced the Pro 3 (curr. $69.99 on Amazon) for those who prefer more of a PlayStation controller layout than the Xbox-inspired Ultimate 2.

As the embedded video highlights, the Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller - Wuchang: Fallen Feathers edition has a more outlandish design than the conventional Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller. Specifically, 8BitDo has overlaid elements from the upcoming game of the same name, which 505 Games is releasing on July 24. For instance, the company has surrounded the controller's left joystick with a 'Light of the Sunbird' golden ring.

Meanwhile, the 'Path of the Sea Lily' covers the bottom left of the Wuchang: Fallen Feathers edition while also stretching onto its included charging dock. Likewise, an outline of the game's playable character, referred to as 'Feather of the Abyss' by 8BitDo, stretches across the right of the controller and its charging dock.
