LG OLED evo M4 new wireless TV launches with gaming features
The LG OLED evo M4 TV is now rolling out worldwide. Some information about the new model was revealed earlier this year, alongside details of the OLED B4, OLED C4 and OLED G4 TVs, which arrived in the US in June.
The M4 is available in a new 65-inch size, not seen for the older M3, as well as 77-, 83- and 97-inch. LG claims this is the first TV to transmit video and audio wirelessly at 4K 144Hz to the display from the Zero Connect Box. The box can be placed away from the TV, and the only cables required are to supply power to the devices. The self-lit OLED model uses the latest Alpha 11 AI processor, supporting Dolby Vision and a Filmmaker Mode. The TV is suitable for gaming, with VRR, Game Optimizer, Game Dashboard, and NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility. Other features include four HDMI 2.1 ports, a virtual 11.1.2 channel surround experience and support for Dolby Atmos.
You can now buy the LG LG OLED evo M4 TV in the UK from third-party retailers like Smiths, with prices ranging from £3,799.99 to £27,999.99 (complete pricing below). The European pricing was announced in March, starting from €4,999. The product will soon roll out across this market and North America; US pricing has yet to be revealed.
