The Infinix Zero X, X Neo and X Pro have been announced with the 8MP periscope lens rated for powerful hybrid zoom normally reserved for high-end devices. However, with their 4G-only MediaTek silicon, these new products are not among them. Then again, the X and X Pro are also enhanced with display specs not normally associated with their chipset.

The Infinix Zero X Neo, Zero X and Zero X Pro have launched with camera humps somewhat reminiscent of those of the premium Vivo X60 series. They have 3 lenses each, one of which is marked out by its square shape, not to mention the "60X" legend in red next to it, as a periscope lens.

This "Moonshot" selling-point camera is 8MP in resolution and is rated for 5x optical zoom and 60x hybrid zoom. Infinix has equipped each Zero X variant with this sensor, and with another 8MP ultrawide-angle sensor, although only the X Pro has a 108MP main shooter with OIS.

The X Neo has one of 48MP, whereas the X has a 64MP main camera. Each of these new phones is powered by 8GB of RAM. However, only the X and X Pro have AMOLED displays, which are also equipped with an additional, dedicated MediaTek Intelligent Display chipset that confers the 120Hz refresh rate normally out of their MediaTek Helio G95 SoC's reach

The Zero X Neo, on the other hand, has the G95's more usual 90Hz rate for its LCD display. It does have a 5,000mAh battery, at least, which charges at a standard 18W. Infinix has graced the Zero X or X Pro with 4,500mAh batteries that can access a top rate of 45W.

Infinix has yet to announce pricing for the new Android 11-based series, although it may be interesting to see where the 3 new variants will land when they hit initial markets such as those in Africa and South-east Asia.
