Reviews for the Infinix Note 40

Infinix Note 40 5G comes with a good display, offers decent performance, and acts as an all-rounder. As we mentioned above, the CMF Phone 1 offers a compelling package in this price range too, but the Infinix phone offers a better camera performance. While the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite offers a better camera performance and faster charging, it doesn’t match up to the Infinix handset in general performance. If you have your priorities set in mind, you can easily take your pick out of the three. As one of the biggest feathers in its cap, the Inifinix Note 40 5G supports wireless charging, which comes in handy and helps the phone stand out in its price segment. We earlier reviewed the Pro variant of the phone and it won’t be wrong to say that this phone offers a similar experience at a more affordable price point.

So, overall, the Infinix Note 40 is a very good phone under Rs. 30,000. The display and design are good, performance is acceptable, and both wired and wireless chargers are included in the box, which is unique at this price. The software is clean, providing a good user experience, so I have no complaints. The camera performance is just okay, not the best but not bad either. Comparable to Samsung’s Galaxy A15 5G and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13, the Infinix Note 40 is a good balanced package under Rs. 30,000. That being said, if you want a better design, slightly better cameras, improved haptics, faster charging, and 12GB RAM, you can get the Note 40 Pro for about Rs. 7,000 more. However, if you are spending around Rs. 35,000, in my opinion, the OnePlus Nord CE3 available for Rs. 37,000 in the market is a better product!

The Infinix Note 40 5G competes with phones such as the Realme P1 5G (Review), the Poco X6 Neo 5G (Review), and the recently launched OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite (Review). None of these phones offer wireless charging, but you get better design and slightly better camera performance from the Realme and the OnePlus. The Poco X6 Neo 5G is also a good choice and costs less. If you're looking for a phone with wireless charging under Rs. 20,000 that also offers a good display, decent primary rear camera, and decent battery life, then the Infinix Note 40 5G is an excellent choice.

The Infinix Note 40 is available at Rs 19,999, but with bank offers, you can take it home for as low as Rs 15,999. The smartphone has a plethora of features like a big, beautiful display, wireless charging and AI-equipped camera, that make the phone feel more expensive than it really is. The only downside of the phone are its charging speeds and camera performance in some areas. So, unless you are specifically looking for a good phone for photography, with the bank offers, the Note 40 is a great deal. Alternatively, for a more clean UI and good camera performance you can also look at Poco F6 and OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite in the price category.

Infinix has leveled up its mid-range lineup with the NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G, which offers a lot of features at under Php 14k. This also marks the first time a NOTE series phone gets a curved AMOLED display. Those who prefer a flat AMOLED display can go for the NOTE 40 5G, which is just as compelling as its Pro+ sibling.

There aren’t many phones that offer wireless charging, NFC support, and impressive customization attributes in the mid-range segment. But when we are talking about the Infinix Note 40, it brings all of those factors without much compromise. Yet, we won’t deny that the user interface is loaded with bloatware, ads, and annoying notifications. Moreover, the video recording quality won’t give good results. On the other hand, the phone is limited to 4G connectivity, which could be a problem for people who want to enjoy a 5G connection on their phone. Although, the phone didn’t lack when it comes to day-to-day usage. But sadly, it’s not designed for proper gaming. Instead of that, you should consider getting the Vivo iQOO Z9. With this, you will receive a stable user interface and cool customization features. Lastly, we recommend you pick a phone that meets your requirements and budget.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.77.56%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
