Ikea announces Kallax Storageborn creation mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

After sharing a teaser for an announcement in relation to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Ikea in partnership with Bethesda, has announced a free companion Creation for the aforementioned game called Kallax Storageborn.

According to Ikea, its smart storage solutions are not only required in the real world, but are also necessary in the digital world; and for a game like Skyrim, where players collect several items, Kallax Storageborn is the solution as it helps players solve the problem of encumbrance and disorganization.

The mod is currently available for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on PC and Xbox, and can be downloaded for free from Bethesda Creations online or in game. It will also be available for PlayStation users soon, but at an unspecified date.

When the mod is enabled, players will have access to a quest that will enable them gather parts to assemble their own Kallax shelf. However, you will need to be encumbered for the quest to be available.

Once you get your Kallax shelf, it will follow you around like a companion and carry any and all of your items. The Kallax shelf is voiced by Matt Berry, the English actor and comedian. The mod also includes new items such as the Allenblade, which is a giant Allen wrench, and the Meatball Helmet.
