The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 is a 65% mechanical gaming keyboard. The compact keyboard has dedicated arrow, delete, page up, and page down keys though, plus media controls. The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard will sell for US$99.99 will be available with a choice of three switch types.

HyperX has announced the Alloy Origins 65 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, a 65% keyboard with dedicated arrow, delete, page up, and page down keys. As should probably expected, the Alloy Origins 65 features HyperX mechanical switches. According to HyperX, these switches should last up to 80 million clicks. Alternatively, the company offers the Alloy Origins 65 with HyperX Red linear or HyperX Aqua tactile switches.

Incidentally, HyperX has included double shot PBT keycaps with secondary key functions. Additionally, the Alloy Origins 65 has RGB backlighting with five adjustable brightness settings. Also, HyperX provides NGENUITY software for changing the keyboard's RGB effects and for enabling macro settings. HyperX has included six game mode presets too, and enough onboard memory for storing three keyboard profiles.

HyperX adds that the Alloy Origins 65 has a 1,000 Hz polling rate, 100% anti-ghosting and N-key rollover. Media Controls are built-in as well, which HyperX has clustered between the space bar and the enter key. All keys have a 45 g operating force, a 1.8 mm actuation point and 3.8 mm of total travel. For reference, the Alloy Origins 65 measures 315.06 x 105.50 x 36.94 mm and weighs 827.7 g with its USB Type-C cable attached. HyperX supplies a 1.8 metre-long cable in the box.

The Alloy Origins 65 Mechanical Keyboard will be orderable from February. HyperX states that the keyboard will retail for US$99.99; it has not provided pricing for other markets yet, though.
