The release of the MateBook X is just a day away, but it has now emerged that Huawei may be unveiling more than just one ultraportable laptop tomorrow. According to a leaked spec sheet published by @NilsAhrDE, Huawei actually has four MateBook-branded laptops in the works to add to the two MateBook D laptops that the company recently refreshed.
The flagship of these four laptops will be the MateBook X Pro, followed by the MateBook X, MateBook 14 2020 and then the MateBook D 13. As we have previously reported, the MateBook X will be configurable with the Core i5-10210U or Core i7-10510U. However, this spec sheet states that only the MateBook X Pro will come with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU, contrary to past rumours.
Both MateBook X laptops will be available with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, but the MateBook X Pro will have a 1 TB SKU, too. Additionally, there will be an 8 GB of RAM edition of the MateBook X. The spec sheet adds that the MateBook X will have a 42 Wh battery, compared to the 56 Wh battery in the MateBook X Pro. The latter will have a larger and brighter panel than the MateBook X, although both will operate at 3,000 x 2,000 pixels.
By contrast, the MateBook 13 2020 and MateBook 14 2020 will come with AMD Ryzen 4000H Renoir APUs. Specifically, the two devices will be configurable with the Ryzen 5 4600H and Ryzen 7 4800H, along with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. The MateBook 13 2020 and MateBook 14 2020 will have lower-resolution and dimmer displays than the MateBook X range though, albeit they will both possess 1440p and 300 nit panels. Based on the dimensions contained in the spec sheet, it would seem that the two MateBook machines will have larger display bezels than their MateBook X siblings, too.
