The latest gaming laptop from Honor cools an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU with six fans, which means that the notebook should run extremely quietly even when gaming.

The Honor Win H9 is not particularly compact with a 2.68 centimeter thick, 2.38 kilogram heavy chassis, but the gaming laptop makes use of this space by implementing a particularly powerful cooling system. The combination of two large fans and five copper heat pipes is already familiar from many competitor gaming laptops, but Honor has added another four mini fans at the rear.

This is intended to blow hot air out of the case more effectively. According to Honor, the notebook can dissipate up to 12.5 percent more heat due to these fans. With a power consumption limited to 170 watts, the Honor Win H9 should also be extremely quiet - Honor advertises fan noise of 38 dB, but does not specify the distance from which this was measured. If the cooling system is fully utilized, the notebook can handle up to 270 watts of power.

Of this, a maximum of 140 watts is allocated to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU, the rest is consumed by the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus. Honor uses a 16-inch IPS panel in 16:10 format, which offers a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, a brightness of 500 nits and a frame rate of 300 Hz; according to Honor, the DCI-P3 color space can be displayed in full. The battery holds 92 Wh. With Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C), USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, three USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and Ethernet, the laptop offers a wide range of connections.
