MagyarComputex 2019 | HP debuts "the world's most secure" modular AIO
HP has a new take on the all-in-one (AIO) for Computex 2019. The HP Mini-in-One 24 Display has a slot on the back of its monitor-like stand into which a PC of the 'mini' form factor can be installed. It is most likely aimed at creators and corporate buyers who want a simple, streamlined computing solution.
The HP Mini-in-One 24 Display is compatible with several HP EliteDesk and ProDesk models. Therefore, it is exceptionally upgradeable and versatile as an AIO. The PCs in question slot easily into the rear of the device, after which an overlying panel can be replaced for a unified look. At the front, it has a single-button power-on that can activate both the monitor and desktop modules.
Otherwise, the 24 Display integrates a 1080p monitor with an HP Privacy Camera (that has a ThinkPad-esque shutter) and an integrated speakers. Its stand has "4.way ergonomics", which means it can tilt, swivel , pivot and move up and down. The HP Mini-in-One 24 Display may be best suited to settings such as offices, front desk and call centers, although it must be said some ProDesks have up to 8th-generation core i7 processors.
