Gooloo GT160 Dual: Portable tire inflator doubles as a power bank and launches with 10,000 mAh capacity

Gooloo has expanded its GT tire inflator lineup by launching a new GT160 Dual tire inflator in the global market. The GT160 Dual builds on the success of the GT 160 and brings noticeable upgrades over the predecessor, from improved inflation and a bigger battery to a lightweight design and a more informative smart color LED screen. 

The Gooloo GT160 Dual is now 4 times faster than before when it comes to inflating tires. For example, Gooloo suggests that, in car mode, a 195/65 R15-245/50 R19 car tire can be inflated from 30 to 36 PSI in just 27 seconds. By contrast, the last-generation model takes around 1 minute to inflate a tire at the same inflation. This makes it significantly faster than the Xiaomi Portable Electric Compressor 2 Pro, which requires 45 seconds for the same inflation. 

The portable accessory offers a total of five inflation preset modes, including car mode, motorcycle mode, bicycle mode, ball mode, and custom mode, which allows you to set any pressure (ranging from 2 to 160 PSI) as per your needs. The smart LED display of the GT160 Dual is more intuitive and colorful than its predecessor. It now showcases battery levels, tire pressure unit, inflation mode, progress ring, and preset modes. 

The GT160 Dual boasts a 10,000 mAh battery, another upgrade from the last generation model (curr. available at $49.99 on Amazon) with a 7,500 mAh battery. Speaking of performance, it is said to allow you to reinflate 36 car tires, 60 bike tires, or 100 balls on a single charge. Most importantly, this tire inflator can also be used as a power bank. It has a total of two ports—USB-C and USB-A—and can charge up to two devices simultaneously. 

Dimension-wise, the portable gadget measures 7.68 x 3.15 x 2.56 inches (195 x 80 x 65 mm) and weighs 2.02 lbs (916 grams), a step down from the 2.44 lbs (1.1 kg) of the GT160. Other highlights include 4-layer protection, auto shut-off, 3 selectable pressure units (PSI, BAR, kPa), built-in magnetic nozzle storage, and a flashlight.
