Sharge Grip power bank with tactile shutter now available

The Sharge Grip Power Bank is now available worldwide. This two-in-one device combines a power bank with physical controls for your phone’s camera. A secure clamp is used to attach the accessory to your phone, and it connects via Bluetooth.

At one end of the Sharge Grip is a tactile shutter button that can be used to take a photo on your phone. This can be triggered while you are holding the phone, or remotely if you want to join the picture. Below this is a scroll wheel which can be used to zoom; it appears that this can also be used to switch between the front and rear cameras and photo or video modes.

The Grip has a 5,000 mAh battery, delivering an up to 22.5W output to the connected device via the built-in red coiled USB-C cable. There is also a USB-C port, with users able to recharge the battery at 18W via either the port or integrated cable. This pocket-sized device measures 88 x 38 x 30 mm (~3.5 x 1.5 x 1.2 inches) and weighs 120 g (~4.23 oz).

You can now buy the Sharge Grip for $35.90/£26.62/€36.69 at the brand’s online store thanks to an introductory offer. This product will retail for $39.90/£29.59/€40.78 in the future; it is unclear when it will be available through retailers like Amazon.
