It’s a great time to be shopping for a Pixel phone. For those who prefer value over the latest specs, Google’s last-gen Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are currently down to their lowest prices ever, with up to $400 in savings. While these deals are still live at the time of writing, we’re also seeing Google’s latest Pixel 9 phones being heavily discounted on Amazon and Best Buy.
Amazon is offering up to $200 discount on the Pixel 9 series. The base Pixel 9 is now down to $649 from its usual price of $799. Next up, the Pixel 9 Pro is $200 off, with the 128GB and 256GB models going for $799 and $899, respectively. If you prefer a bigger display, the Pixel 9 Pro XL with 128GB storage can be yours for just $899 (reg. $1,099). While these prices aren't the absolute lowest we've seen, they're within $50 of the Black Friday deals, making this a fantastic opportunity to snag Google's latest flagship phones at one of their best prices.
If you’re confused which one will better suit your needs, here’s a quick rundown. All three Pixels have more in common than you might think. They’re all powered by the same Tensor G4 chipset, share the same primary and wide-angle cameras, and offer the same AI features and software experience out-of-the-box. The main differences come down to display size, battery capacity, and additional zoom camera plus an upgraded front shooter on the Pro models—which the base Pixel 9 lacks. Moreover, the Pro models also pack more RAM (12GB vs 16GB) and offer extras like a temperature sensor and ultra-wideband (UWB) chip. In the end, it all comes down to whether you like regular-sized phones—in which case the Pixel 9 should serve you better—or a plus-sized device with a bigger battery and a dedicated zoom lens—if so, go for either the 9 Pro or Pro XL.
