Garmin smartwatch users get new driver-related health features in update

Garmin Instinct 3, Instinct Crossover, and Instinct E smartwatch users are receiving a new stable update: software version 13.26. This release arrives shortly after the company pushed system software 13.25 to these wearables, which fixed an issue linked to the new Smart Wake feature.
The Garmin system software version 13.26 was announced in a recent post in the brand’s forum. The change log shows a long list of new features and improvements, though many of these arrived with the earlier software version 13.24 update.
New with version 13.26 for the Instinct 3 and Instinct E smartwatch is a bug fix to prevent the wearables from crashing when starting up. For users of the Solar Tactical and AMOLED Tactical (curr. $599.99 at Amazon) models, the company has resolved an issue where 3rd party laser range finders were not receiving ballistic data as expected. Plus, all Solar and AMOLED watches gain new health features and short workouts designed for truck drivers. Unfortunately, no further information about these tools is provided in the change log (below).
At the time of writing, Garmin Instinct 3 system software 13.26 has been pushed to around 50% of users. When it is available for your smartwatch, it should be downloaded and installed automatically the next time you connect to the Garmin Connect mobile app or the Garmin Express computer software.
