Garmin unofficially launches major new stable update for high-end smartwatches

Garmin released a new beta update for the Fenix 8 and Fenix 8 Pro (curr. $1,199.99 on Amazon) at the end of last week. Also available for associated smartwatches like the Enduro 3, Beta Version 21.25 appeared to be v21.xx beta build before Garmin transitioned development to its stable software branch.
Based on previous rollouts, it seemed that Garmin would begin offering System Software 21.25 around Valentine's Day. Officially, System Software 20.29 remains the most recent stable update for Garmin's latest high-end smartwatches. However, it seems that the company has quietly started offering v21.25 as a new stable update.
For the time being, Garmin has not published a changelog. Nonetheless, multiple community members report that they have started receiving v21.25 despite never enrolling on Garmin's Beta Program. Thus, we suspect that System Software 21.25 will receive an official release within the next day or so.
The new update should bring over two-dozen new features to the Fenix 8 series, including Battery Manager, Course Planner and sleep monitoring improvements. Also, the volume of bug fixes that System Software 21.25 brings to the table should push its changelog beyond 100 lines long. Garmin will issue the new stable update in batches as an over-the-air (OTA) download.
