Garmin has published another update for its Epix 2, Enduro 2, Fenix 7, Quatix 7 and Marq 2 smartwatches shortly after the company released a new titanium edition of the latter. For some reason, the new update has skipped Garmin's Public Beta program. According to the company's forum post, the new update arrives as v15.77, which follows on from v15.76 that Garmin issued in the same method.
At any rate, v15.77 is the third stable update that Garmin has rolled out to the Epix 2, Enduro 2, Fenix 7, Quatix 7 and Marq 2 series this month. Unsurprisingly, the update contains minimal changes from v15.76 and v15.74 before it. In this case, the new build should fix an issue that could cause a crash on the map page when certain maps are used. Please note that Garmin has not clarified what these 'certain maps' are.
Moreover, Garmin claims that v15.77 resolves a bug that prevented ski and snowboard distances from being shown in the 'All Stats' section for those activities. Nonetheless, Public Beta members can still request v15.77 without exiting the program. As usual, you can trigger the update manually by heading to Menu, System, Software Update and then tap 'Check for Updates'. Incidentally, while Garmin mentions a target rollout percentage in its forum post, it has not confirmed the percentage number at this stage.
