Galaxy S27 Pro, Galaxy S27 Ultra camera specs leak: New sensors, zoom to make all the difference

A fresh new leak from a top tipster has provided an exciting glimpse into the upcoming Galaxy S27 series, coming with good news about the camera system in the anticipated Galaxy S27 Pro and the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
According to the report, both of Samsung’s top flagships are expected to share identical, all-new primary and ultra-wide sensors. While the compact-ish Galaxy S27 Pro model (reported to get a 6.5-inch display), should adopt the Ultra’s high-end main and ultra-wide snappers, the telephoto setup is expected to make all the difference.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to stick to a 5x periscope zoom camera with a 10x in-sensor crop. While it is entirely possible the smaller Galaxy S27 Pro will get a 3-4x zoom camera, Samsung might stick to a smaller, more affordable 5x zoom sensor.
The S27 Ultra’s camera array is in for an overhaul, abandoning the dedicated 3x telephoto lens in favor of in-sensor cropping and a streamlined triple-camera layout with a new primary 200MP sensor (likely the 1/1.3-inch ISOCELL HP6), which (apparently) also applies to the S27 Pro.
With the telephoto camera aside, the 6.5-inch S27 Pro and 6.9-inch S27 Ultra are expected to be largely identical with the notable exception of the S Pen, which is to remain exclusive to the larger flagship.
