Another ‘Ultra’ feature could land on the Galaxy S27 Pro

It looks like the Galaxy S27 Pro is shaping up to be a feature-rich smartphone, much like the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra and the last-gen Galaxy S26 Ultra, but for less. Following leaks about the same battery size and similar camera setup, a new leak has hinted at another ‘Ultra’ feature that is being tested for the Pro model.
The information comes courtesy of Digital Chat Station on Weibo, which claims that the Privacy Display feature is being tested for the Galaxy S27 Pro. This feature was first introduced with the Galaxy S26 Ultra (buy on Amazon), and the phone was the only one in the lineup to come with it. Now, it looks like Samsung wants to expand the privacy feature to another model in the lineup. However, whether it actually makes it to the phone will remain uncertain till Samsung confirms it.
The Galaxy S27 Pro, as mentioned earlier, is expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery despite the smaller 6.5-inch (6.47 inches) screen size compared to the Ultra’s 6.9 inches. It is also said to come with the same new primary and ultra-wide cameras. The phone will likely arrive in February next year. Till then, Samsung has the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra to keep shoppers engaged.
