The Galaxy M series is a budget-oriented smartphone lineup. Rumors suggest that Samsung is working on a new model in the series called the Galaxy M07. Ahead of official confirmation, a leak has revealed the specifications of the device.
According to SmartPrix, the Galaxy M07 will feature a 6.7-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone may come with a 50MP+2MP rear camera setup. On the front, it is expected to have an 8MP selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy M07 is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. It is an octa-core processor that was introduced in 2022. It has also been utilized in other budget Android phones like the Redmi Note 14 LTE and the Poco M6 Pro. The Helio G99 has an average AnTuTu V10 score of 405K points. The Galaxy M07 may come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with possible additional memory configurations.
The phone will reportedly feature a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, though a charger may not be included. In terms of software, the phone is tipped to come out of the box with Android 15. The source claims that the Galaxy M07 will receive six major Android OS updates. Other leaked features include an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers. The leak also reveals that the Galaxy M07 has a thickness of 7.6mm and weighs 184g.
The leaked specifications of the Galaxy M07 indicate that it may be a rebranded Galaxy A07 (4G). For those unaware, the A07 (4G) launched recently in Indonesia with a price tag of IDR 1,399,000, roughly translating to 86 USD. The M07 is likely to launch in a similar price range, possibly serving as an alternative to the A07 (4G) in certain regions.
