Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 8 Beta 6 update for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. This update, which carries the firmware version 5ZYHB/5BYHB, aims to be the final step toward a stable public release.
The latest beta focuses on addressing known issues rather than introducing new features. The download is slightly over 800MB. Users have detected it in multiple regions, including the US, the UK, Germany, India, and Poland.

Other notable fixes include resolving a bug where the screen would freeze unexpectedly and correcting errors in the clock widget's time display. The update even addresses a specific issue with the Naver Sports app and a font bug that reset custom fonts to default.
While the new beta is focused on stability, there have been prior reports of new features coming to One UI 8. These rumors include an improved "Audio Eraser" for videos and a "Call Captions" feature. However, Samsung has not officially confirmed them as part of this specific beta release. They could arrive with the final, stable firmware in the coming months.
In addition to bug fixes, the Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta 6 includes the latest September 2025 security patch. While there's no specific rollout date for stable OTA yet, the South Korean giant confirmed it will begin sometime in September.
