Fortnite for Android to arrive in a few months
Released as a paid-for early access title back in late July 2017, Fortnite became a smashing hit less than one year later. Now available for Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Xbox One, PUBG's direct competitor managed to cash in an estimated revenue of US$223 million in March 2018 alone. Although this title is not ready for Android yet, it seems that PUBG will not remain unchallenged in that area for much longer.
Epic Games has not mentioned any firm release date for Fortnite for Android, but they did say that Android support should be expected in the next few months. However, many YouTube videos that started to pop up this weekend claim that the invite emails for the Fornite Android beta test are already reaching quite a few people. Even more, game footage videos apparently recorded on Android devices are also coming out.
The thing is that Epic Games still has to announce the Fortnite Android beta, so many claim that the videos mentioned above are nothing more but clickbait. We should know the truth in a few days, but until then anyone can log in to or create a Fortnite Account, then check the account settings to be sure that Epic Games sends an email once the game for Android becomes available.
Since we know there are quite a few gamers reading us, would you be kind to help us clear things out? You only need to answer one simple question: have you received the invite to the Android beta of Fortnite or at least do you happen to know someone who did?
