Released in South Korea back in March 2010, the action MMORPG title shortly known as Dragon Nest arrived on Android a few months ago, but it was only available in South Asia since then. Now, Dragon Nest M (from "mobile") can be finally enjoyed by Android users all over the world as a free game (with optional digital purchases, of course).

Back in the first quarter of 2010, Eyedentity Games introduced the Dragon Nest MMORPG in South Korea. In the autumn of 2011, this game arrived in North America. Europe received it in March 2013. In June 2012, the game became Dragon Nest 2.0. The next two updates turned it into Dragon Nest R (2015 - 2016) and Dragon Nest A: Will of the Gods (since 2016). Dragon Nest M is the version of the Dragon Nest game for mobile platforms and the version for Android has just been released worldwide via Google Play after a few weeks of limited availability.

As it usually happens with such titles adapted from consoles and PCs for mobile devices, Dragon Nest — previously available as a Windows-exclusive title — for Android features the same gameplay and graphics as the original but integrates a few changes to make it better suited for small-sized touchscreens. The most obvious such change, widely used in mobile MMORPG titles, is the introduction of an auto-battle mode.

Those who missed Dragon Nest so far should know that this MMORPG features a non-targeting combat and skill system, revolving around a deep story that has a perspective which depends on the class chosen by the player. Speaking of classes, there are four main ones — Warrior, Archer, Sorceress, and Cleric — which can evolve into eight secondary specializations, each of these also offering two more choices as the player's skill increases. For example, a Warrior can become a Sword Master or Mercenary once the player reaches level 15, and the Sword Master can turn into a Moonlord or Gladiator at level 45.

Dragon Nest M for Android has been installed by over 1,000,000 users so far and requires Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or later. The game is free to play, but those who want to improve their in-game experience can purchase premium currency to speed up their progress and various customization items. After almost 60,000 user ratings, Dragon Nest M has a 4.2/5 Google Play rating, so it is worth a try at least, especially if you enjoy titles like Lineage 2: Revolution.
