Fitbit Charge 5 and Fitbit Luxe receive new clock faces
Fitbit has announced what it calls 'exciting new features' for the Charge 5 and Luxe, two fitness trackers that the company released last year. To recap, Fitbit introduced software version 1.171.50 last month for both devices. Fundamentally featuring the same changelog, Fitbit claimed that software version 1.171.50 also addressed a battery drain issue for some Charge 5 units when undertaking GPS-enabled exercises.
Also, the company stated that both devices would receive new clock faces. However, it did not provide any further details about these additions. For some reason, Fitbit has waited nearly two weeks to showcase these clock faces, of which there are three, but only for the Luxe. According to Fitbit's blog post, both fitness trackers will receive 'Bloom' a watch face that comes in pink and purple colourways.
Based on the screenshots provided, Fitbit has included one customisable complication in both Bloom clock faces, or a cyclable complication that shows a minimum of the day and date or your heart rate. Fitbit adds that the Luxe has received a third 'chic clockface', which also has a complication showing your heart rate. It remains to be seen why Fitbit decided against giving the Charge 5 three clock faces as well. Regardless, these clock faces and Fitbit's Find Phone app are available through software version 1.171.50, which you can download now.
