First image ever from the film Star Wars: Starfighter has surfaced. And that's not all, as the movie's cast has also been revealed, featuring very popular actors such as Ryan Gosling.
The Star Wars saga continues to live in the cinema, and one of the upcoming films is currently in production in England. Recently, a first image of this new project was unveiled, as well as the entire cast with big names.
Therefore, if Lucasfilm had already announced the presence of Ryan Gosling in its next movie named Star Wars: Starfighter, no image had yet been revealed. And it was through a statement on the official website that this first image was unveiled, showing Ryan Gosling sitting on a vehicle that looks like a landspeeder.
You will also notice that to his right is another person, who is none other than Flynn Gray, known for his roles in Rose's War and Innocent. And that's not all, as other details have also been revealed.

Star Wars: Starfighter will be directed by Shawn Levy, who directed the famous Deadpool & Wolverine. Regarding the rest of the cast, we find Mia Goth and Matt Smith, who will play the villains of the movie, but also Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings and Amy Adams.
But if this casting can make some fans dream, don't expect a sequel or prequel to the previous stories. Indeed, Kathleen Kennedy stated in an interview with Deadline that this movie was independent, before adding that it was an entirely new story set in a period that had not yet been explored.
As a result, it will also be necessary to be patient before seeing it in the cinema, because if the production has already started, its release date is currently set for May 28, 2027. But fortunately, for Star Wars fans, another film will make its appearance in May 2026, and it is The Mandalorian and Grogu, starring Pedro Pascal.
