The Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS650 Smart Streaming Laser Projector is now available worldwide. Also known as the EH-LS650, the model was unveiled earlier this year, with the release date previously left unclear. The gadget has been designed for your home theatre, with a 4K PRO-UHD resolution; the panel has a native 1080p resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate.
You can use the LS650 to cast images up to 120-in (~305 cm) wide with a 0.26-0.41 throw ratio. The ultra-short throw projector uses 3-chip 3LCD technology, for colorful pictures with high clarity and a peak brightness of 3,600 lumens. Integrated Android TV lets you stream content from popular apps like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube. Plus, you can control the gadget with Google Assistant voice commands. You can adjust the settings in the Epson app, which is available for iOS and Android, and the company claims it helps you set up your projector in a matter of seconds.
Other features include a built-in Yamaha 2.1 channel virtual sound system, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and a range of HDMI ports, including eARC. You can buy the Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS650 Smart Streaming Laser Projector for US$2,799.99/£2,299.99/AUD$3,999/€2,699. The model is available in black or white.
