EndeavourOS 2026.03.06 launches with installer improvements and the 6.19.6 kernel

In its quest to deliver the best possible Arch-based Linux experience, the EndeavourOS team is back with another update. Carrying the version number 2026.03.06 and the astronomy-inspired name Titan, this release uses the Linux 6.19.6.arch1-1 kernel, which is available for both the live environment and the offline installer.
In addition to the kernel mentioned above, EndeavourOS 2026.03.06 Titan comes with the following highlights:
- Calamares 26.03.1.3-1.
- Hardware detection for all GPUs and VMs; now the installation of additional drivers includes Vulkan drivers and the packages required for hardware acceleration, when applicable.
- The eos-hwtool is used by the installer but can be employed by the users to install and remove GPU drivers when needed.Firefox 148.0-1.
- Improved mirror ranking support.
- Mesa 1:26.0.1-1.
- Xorg-server 21.1.21-1 (xorg).
- Nvidia-utils 590.48.01-4.
Existing systems can update to Titan without the need to reinstall. However, those who are going to install EndeavourOS from scratch should know that the size of the ISO has increased from 3 GB to 3.4 GB to accommodate all the new features, so the idea of a Linux experience that's as clean as possible is still in place, free from any bloatware.
