The Epic Games Store is poised to announce a new freebie for mobile gamers tomorrow. In the meantime, a well-regarded source has revealed the company's plans hours ahead of schedule.

Redditor u/MeguminShiro has got ahead of Epic Games this week, having also done so last week with Double Dragon Trilogy for Android and iOS. For context, the storefront has already announced its desktop plans for next week. In short, Epic Games will be offering another two acclaimed games, full details of which we have covered separately.

Conversely, the storefront has decided against confirming its next mobile giveaway plans. Nonetheless, u/MeguminShiro already has done so across recent Reddit posts. According to the Redditor, Epic Games will be returning to the Samorost series with Samorost 3. Incidentally, the storefront offered Samorost 2 on Android and iOS almost a month ago.

Described as an 'exploration adventure and puzzle game' by Amanita Design, Samorost 3 has received an Editors' Choice award on the Apple App Store, where it also averages 4.5/5 stars from over 550 ratings. Similarly, Samorost 3 maintains a 4.3/5 average on the Google Play Store from over 18k reviews, in part thanks to the in-game achievements that encourage multiple run-throughs. Samorost 3 should be free to claim on Android and iOS between October 16 and October 23 at around 15:00 UTC.
