Dell releases Alienware 16X Aurora with up to RTX 5070Ti

Dell has released the Alienware 16X Aurora gaming laptop with an OLED display. The new laptop was first showcased at CES 2026 earlier this year, but will now be available for purchase starting today.
The 16-inch gaming laptop features up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX processor and up to an Nvidia RTX 5070Ti. When it was announced at CES, it was only available with the option of the RTX 5060 or RTX 5070. However, unlike the Alienware 16 Area-51 which has up to 96GB RAM, this maxes out at 64GB, but it does have 2x DDR5 SO-DIMM memory slots. It also has up to 2TB of PCIe NVMe M.2 Gen 4 SSD (single and double storage configurations).
The Alienware 16X Aurora has a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 anti-glare OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.2 ms response time. In addition, it has a 120% DCI-P3 color gamut, 620 nits of HDR peak luminance, Nvidia G-Sync Dynamic Display Switching, and built-in AI software that offers protection against burn-in.
It also features an Alienware 1-zone AlienFX keyboard with 1.4mm key travel and anti-ghost technology, while the multi-touch gesture touchpad has integrated scrolling. Other features are Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 90Wh battery. Dell ships the Alienware 16X Aurora with a 180W barrel AC adapter but models with a GeForce RTX 5070 come with a 280W barrel AC adapter as standard. Buyers can also purchase a 130W USB-C adapter if they want.
For ports, the Alienware 16X Aurora has 1x RJ-45 port, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a headphone jack, 1x Thunderbolt 4 port, 1x Type-C USB 3.2 port, and 1x HDMI 2.1 to dGPU output port. Dell will ship it with Windows 11 or Windows 11 Pro.
Like the Alienware 16 Area-51, the Alienware 16X Aurora will be available today on the Alienware website, but pricing has not been revealed yet.
