Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme is the smallest 5G-capable 13-inch rugged laptop and is also the first Dell laptop with Windows 11 pre-installed
Dell has been offering the Latitude Rugged Extreme series of laptops for quite some time now. Dell claims that its latest Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme is the smallest 5G-capable 13-inch fully rugged laptop.
The Latitude 7330 is meant to take on the toughest of jobs in harsh work environments and is ably built to the task. The chassis is IP65-rated and tested to match MIL-STD-810H requirements such as drop-testing from six feet. Powering the Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme are a choice of Intel Tiger Lake processor options including the Core i5-1135G7, Core i5-1145G7, and the Core i7-1185G7. Buyers can select between 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB LPDDR4X-4266 RAM options along with various NVMe SSD choices from 128 GB to 2 TB.
The Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme features a 13.3-inch FHD 60 Hz anti-glare touchscreen that also works with gloves. Dell said that the display covers 100% sRGB color space and offers wide-viewing angles and good outdoor viewing thanks to 1,400 nits of brightness.
The laptop offers dual hot-swappable 3-cell 53.5 Wh batteries, which come in ExpressCharge and Long Life Cycle variants. Dell claims a 25-hour runtime with these batteries that also stand to offer up to a 35% charge in 20 minutes. The device also offers an assortment of ports and connectivity options including optional 5G connectivity. The Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme is also FirstNet Ready with Band 14 for mission-critical broadband field connectivity during emergencies.
This is also Dell's first direct Windows 11 offering. The company offers several service coverage options including Pro Support Plus with next-business day on-site service along with Dell Optimizer for AI-based performance optimization, Dell Data Protection, and support for Dell Unified Workspace.
The Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme will be available globally from December 9, 2021.
