Dell launched the refreshed Inspiron 16 (5630) almost a year ago. Now, one of its higher-end configurations can be had for just $599.99 with free shipping on the company's webstore, a 45% discount from its list price of $1,099.99. The variant in question comes equipped with a 16-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 and a maximum brightness of 300 nits.
Powering the laptop is an Intel Core i7-1360P processor (4 P + 8 E cores, Iris Xe graphics with 96 EUs) joined by 16 GB of LPDDR5 (soldered) memory and a 1 TB PCIe SSD.
Connectivity consists of two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 connector (DP Alt Mode, Power Delivery), HDMI 1.4, an SD card reader, as well as a 3.5 mm audio combo jack. The 64 Wh battery can charge at up to 65 W through either the USB-C port or the barrel connector, with an Intel AX411 wireless card providing WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
The notebook's aluminum body measures 14.1 x 9.9 x 0.7 inches (357 x 252 x 18 mm) and weighs about 4.3 lbs (1.9 kg). Other features include a backlit keyboard, a 1080p webcam, and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button.
