Model: Dell rarely fails to inspire with the Inspiron. It constantly evolves the Inspiron brand name to suit contemporaneous needs. It is meant to be the beating heart of Dell. Laptops under this category are good, affordable, and suitable for all purposes be it gaming, work, or studying. The new Inspiron 15 5578 stands as an attractive 2-in-1 laptop which provides users with flexible modes and exciting options. With its 360 degree hinge, it is easily convertible to four different modes i.e. laptop, stand, tablet, and tent. This is a common feature found in 12-inch and 13-inch models, but it is quite surprising that Dell included it in a 15-inch laptop. The laptop looks business-like with its dark gray finish and smooth, matte black interior. Dell’s attempt to minimize the bezel size is also noteworthy, as it provides with more viewing area. Overall, the Inspiron 15 is a solid laptop clearly built to last as it has also been tested to withstand harsh conditions. Its size is 20.2 x 381.9 x 253.1 mm and it weighs 2.3 kg.
Performance-wise, it is powered by a 7th generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor with integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU. Hence, running demanding software and multi-tasking should not be an issue. Nevertheless, the lack of a dedicated graphic card renders the Inspiron inappropriate for gaming with high setting and resolution. Its 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080 resolution) IPS Truelife LED-Backlit touchscreen display is no less disappointing. Response on its touchscreen is prompt and sensitive. Colors appear bright with strong details. Memory options range between 8 GB up to 16 GB of RAM, and storage options available are 1 TB 5400 rpm hard drive or up to 512 GB SSD. There is no optical drive included. Network connectivity is supported by 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. Sound quality is pretty decent as the Inspiron 15 comes integrated with Waves MaxxAudio Pro. Connectivity is aplenty on this machine as it comes equipped with an SD Card Reader, a USB 2.0 port, a HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, and an audio jack. Its 3-cell 42 Wh battery should be able to last around 7 hours of web browsing. The laptop comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home 64-bit. Its precision touchpad with multi-touch control is wide and sensitive. The keyboard bundled together is spill resistant and users may opt for a backlit keyboard for use in dim environments. The additional infrared camera option supports ‘Windows Hello’ face recognition. Reviews received thus far have been favorable to the Inspiron 15 and they are rightly so. Its low price factor would greatly benefit students and families.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
