The Creality Hi Combo is a new 3D printer capable of handling up to 16 filaments. According to the company, the system features an almost all-metal body and is designed to help even beginners get started quickly and effectively.

Creality has certainly been quite industrious, announcing yet another new 3D printer in the form of the Hi Combo. Although the system doesn’t seem to be currently in stock, those who are interested can sign up to be notified when it is available. Officially priced at $469, the Creality Hi Combo includes one CFS module, which can hold four filaments. The 3D printer alone will set you back $299. You check the company’s website for information on pricing in your region.

The Creality Hi Combo can work with as many as four CFS modules at once, allowing it to handle up to 16 different colours and filaments. Because this is an open 3D printer, print processes may be somewhat susceptible to air draughts. Equipped with a build volume of 260 x 260 x 300 mm (10.2 x 10.2 x 11.8 in), the Hi Combo boasts a maximum printing speed of 500 mm/s and a typical printing speed of 300 mm/s, based on specifications; a higher printing speed generally translates to poorer quality. The nozzle and heatbed can reach up to 300°C (572°F) and 100°C (212°F), respectively. However, the printing space can’t be heated due to the open design.

The Hi Combo 3D printer is 95% preassembled out of the box and offers various other features, including a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a camera for print monitoring, support for the Creality Cloud app and control over Wi-Fi, and automatic levelling.
