The Eryone Thinker X400 is a new 3D printer which is advertised to be a good fit for companies which create lots of prints. It also sports a build volume of 400 x 400 x 400 millimeters, which is big enough to print multiple smaller parts at once, which can increase productivity.
The manufacturer further advertises a maximum speed of 500 mm/s and a flow rate of up to 35 mm² per second. Furthermore, the 3D printer is quite accurate with a deviation of 0.1 to 0.3 millimeters, while the layer thickness can be adjusted between 0.08 and 0.32 millimeters.
This is an enclosed 3D printer, so the print is less affected by drafts. The print head can be heated to up to 300 °C, the print bed to a maximum of 120 °C. According to the official specifications, PLA, PETG, TPU, and also filaments reinforced with carbon or glass fibers can be used.
Leveling is automatic, and the 3D printer runs on the Klipper firmware. Moreover, multiple units of the 3D printer can be stacked on top of each other, which allows using and operating them at the same time. The auto-leveling feature uses 25-point tests, so users don't have to deal with this manually.
The printer also sports a camera that can be used to monitor the printing process. The print nozzle can also be changed quickly, so installing one with a different diameter should be no issue. A touchscreen is onboard as well.
As part of the ongoing crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, the Thinker X400 is being offered for $1,400, deliveries are scheduled for April. As always, backers are taking financial risks by paying up front, but Eryone is an established company that already offers various 3D printers, accessories, and filaments.
