Smalth has unveiled an all-new Ceramic smart ring, joining the Smalth Titanium in the brand’s roster. To recall, the company introduced the Titanium in December last year. Interestingly, the new Ceramic smart ring is slimmer and lighter than the Titanium model. To be more exact, the smart ring measures just 4 mm (0.15 inch) wide and weighs around 2 grams (0.70 ounce). By contrast, the Titanium model is 7.6 mm wide and weighs 2.7 grams (0.095 ounce).
This time around, the ring features a ceramic coating, which gives it a smooth and refined finish while offering the durability and comfort of the Titanium version. Despite its slimmer and lighter form factor, the 10 ATM-rated smart ring is said to offer advanced health monitoring capabilities as Smalth Titanium.
The Ceramic is advertised as being able to monitor 24/7 heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. Plus, there’s also sleep tracking available, which allows you to track metrics such as sleep cycles, sleep stages, sleep score, and sleep time. Furthermore, the smart wearable also supports activity tracking, including running, walking, cycling, and more. Battery life is rated at up to 8 days on a single charge.
The new ring supports app-based controls, offering users detailed health insights. Unlike its rivals, such as Oura and Ultrahuman, no subscription is required to use all of the Ceramic smart ring’s features. Smalth offers the ring in three finishes: white, pink, and black.
Available in 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 ring sizes, the Smalth Ceramic Ring is priced at $88. Interested buyers can now purchase the smart ring directly from Smalth’s official website.
