The Circular Ring 2 was originally announced last November, but as of today, the smart ring is finally available for pre-order on Kickstarter. Deliveries are expected to kick off in June 2025. The "Super Early Bird" costs $239, but the eventual retail price of the new smart ring is allegedly expected to rise to $550 excluding shipping or import fees for international customers.
The Circular Ring 2 is available in US ring sizes 6 through 13 and in the color choices silver, black, gold and rose gold. A charging case and charging cable are included in the box. The ring supposedly offers a battery life of up to seven days, but the aforementioned case extends that runtime to up to a month, before both have to be plugged into a charging plug.
First smart ring with FDA-certified ECG
The standout feature of the Circular Ring 2 is arguably the built-in electrocardiogram (ECG) with FDA approval, which allows the ring to detect certain heart rhythm irregularities. Furthermore, the wearable automatically measures heart rate, skin temperature, and SpO₂ levels every two minutes in order to accurately track these data points throughout the day. The ring can also measure heart rate variability, stress, the female cycle, sleep and workouts.
The manufacturer emphasizes that all features of the Circular Ring 2 are usable without a paid subscription, which is an apparent jab at the Oura Ring 4 (from $347 on Amazon). Moreover, the associated smartphone app offers an AI assistant called Kira, which can provide health recommendations based on the collected data. The smart ring is made of titanium, is waterproof according to IP68 and weighs around 0.14 ounces.
