Casio’s new Green Face series watches are now officially available
After quietly popping up on Casio’s international website earlier this month, the new Green Face series is now official and up for grabs. The lineup includes three stylish, ultra-affordable watches that deliver practical features in distinct yet timeless Casio designs, each featuring eye-catching green hues.
The Casio W-218HD-3AV is the most affordable of the bunch, starting at £29. It sports a classic square case with a green-accented negative display (white fonts on black background) and a stainless steel band with triple-fold clasp. The battery life is rated for 7 years on a CR2016 coin cell, and you also get water resistance up to 50 meters. The W-218HD-3AV is also the only model in the series to offer an LED light.
The MRW-210H-3BV is an analog model featuring a sporty, marine-inspired design with a distinctive green dial and a rotating unidirectional timer bezel. The watch offers a handy day and date display and up to 3 years of battery life on an SR927SW cell. The case and band are made out of resin, and while there’s no mention of shock or impact resistance, you do get 100-meter water resistance. The Casio MRW-210H-3BV is priced at £39 and can be purchased directly from Casio UK’s online store.
Priced at £50, the Casio AEQ-110W-3A2V (A158WA-1 curr. $29.95 on Amazon) is the most expensive and feature-packed option in the trio. This digital-analog watch sports a large dial with rich green tones and a two-hand analog module with two digital sub-dials for displaying hour, minute, second, am/pm, month, date, and day. It boasts up to 10 years of runtime on a CR2025 battery and offers Casio’s Telememo feature, letting you store up to 30 records with name and phone number data right on your watch. Other highlights include world time for 30 cities, 3 daily alarms, hourly chime, countdown timer, 1/100-second stopwatch, and an auto-calendar.
Casio hasn’t confirmed pricing or release timelines for the US and other markets yet, but we expect to hear more from the company soon.
