Casio has officially confirmed that it will bring two new G-Shock MTG-B4000 Series watches to more European countries. The MTG-B4000-1A and the MTG-B4000-1A2 were recently released in Japan and are also on the way to the UK.
Now, Casio has listed the G-Shock MTG-B4000B-1A at its online stores in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany, with an RRP of €1,250. The G-Shock MTG-B4000B-1A2 is also listed in these countries at a slightly higher price of €1,350. According to the product pages, they are expected to be released in this region in July 2025, though an exact date has not been given.
The Casio MTG-B4000-1A and MTG-B4000-1A2 are radio-controlled (Multiband 6) watches with Bluetooth connectivity. They support world time with automatic Daylight Saving Time changes, a 1-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and a daily alarm. An LED backlight should help you to read the dial in low lighting, and Power Saving mode combined with Tough Solar charging should help to extend the battery life beyond 5 months.
The two MT-G watches are almost identical, both with a carbon casing and black resin strap. However, the MTG-B4000B-1A has a standard stainless steel bezel, and the MTG-B4000B-1A2 has a dark gray ion-plated stainless steel bezel. Both measure 56.6 x 45.3 x 14.4 mm (~2.2 x 1.8 x 0.6 inches) and weigh 112 g (~4.0 oz).
In the UK, the MTG-B4000B-1A will retail for £1,119, while the MTG-B4000B-1A2 will be priced at £1,219; both are expected to be released in this country in June 2025.
