Casio's new DW-5600WW-7 has just surfaced, with a fresh take on its iconic square-format G-Shock. Revealed via an Instagram post by @morgan_gshock the new model keeps things simple with a full monochrome white finish - from the case and strap to the LCD border and display.
The DW-5600WW-7 belongs to the long-running DW-5600 series, which traces its roots back to the original G-Shock from 1983. While many versions of the DW-5600 have come and gone, this latest one will stand out a little more with its tone-on-tone color scheme. Every visible part of the watch is rendered in white, including the case, bezel, buttons, and even the display glass. It’s a deliberate design for fashion-conscious buyers, especially those who pair G-Shocks with streetwear or minimalist outfits.
Casio hasn't listed the watch on its global site yet, but models in the DW-5600WW line typically come with standard G-Shock features: shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, EL backlight, stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm, and a 2-year CR2016 battery.
The WW-series models, including the previous DW-5600BB and DW-5600WS variants, are also known for themed colorways. This all-white model takes that concept further into brighter territory, while keeping the same foundation. Pricing is expected to fall under the $100–$120 mark once available across regions.
For now, the DW-5600WW-7 appears to be viewable only through third-party channels, but wider availability is likely to follow in the coming weeks.
