Casio G-Shock DW5600UE returns to Amazon with 5-year battery life and a sub-$55 price tag
The Casio G-Shock DW-5600 is back in stock on Amazon, and while it’s not some limited-edition hype drop, this is still one of the most dependable and well-loved digital watches in Casio’s lineup. The recently restocked DW5600UE-1 might look nearly identical to the older DW5600E-1V, but it does bring a few under-the-hood improvements worth taking a look at.
For starters, this model is part of the same long-running 5600 series that first took off in the late '80s. Well-known for its square case, minimalist digital display, and rock-solid construction, the DW-5600 was (and is still) a favorite for anyone who wanted a no-nonsense watch that could take a beating.
The DW5600UE sticks to that same winning formula but adds an LED backlight instead of the older EL panel and a longer-lasting battery - up to five years, according to Casio.
