CES 2020 | CTL announces new, rugged, Gemini Lake-powered Chromebooks
CTL has unveiled its new series of Chromebooks at CES this year. The first of these NL71 PCs are directed at classroom use-cases, and as such are equipped with features such as reinforced ports and hinges as well as water-resistant keyboards. The NL71TW and NL71T are also compatible with optional cases that confer spill, drop and impact protection.
These 2 variants are 11.6-inch Chromebooks with Gorilla Glass-covered touchscreens. They are also convertibles, and have HD cameras on the front and rear sides. The CTL NL71, on the other hand, has an HDMI port and SKUs with touchscreens and LTE .
On this note, the connectivity in question is multi-mode MIMO (MU-MIMO), which is an upgrade for Chromebooks and is thanks to its new Celeron N4020/N4120 (or Gemini Lake) processors. Each new CTL NL71 PC comes with a 1-year parts and labor warranty, and will be available direct from the OEM, distributors such as Ingram Micro or Synnex, and various resellers.
