In a post on X (embedded below), Nothing released the first teaser video for the follow-up to the CMF Phone 1 (approx. $289 on Amazon). The video showcases a pill-shaped camera module housing a single camera and an LED flash. This design appears to be consistent with an earlier leak suggesting that the CMF Phone 2 will feature a total of three rear cameras: Two are placed individually on the body, whilst the third is housed in a module together with the flash.
However, the specs of the mid-range phone's cameras have yet to be revealed. Given the CMF Phone 1 only came with a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor, we expect Nothing to include an ultrawide camera this time round. The teaser video also shows the phone in orange, a staple colour used by Nothing’s budget-oriented CMF sub-brand. The tagline “In search of the perfect shot” hints at a potential camera upgrade. Whilst Nothing has confirmed the CMF Phone 2 is scheduled to launch soon, no further details about the device have been officially announced.
Rumours suggest that the CMF Phone 2 will feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 1080p+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, complemented by a 5,000 mAh battery capable of 33-watt USB-C charging. The phone will allegedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400, which features four ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores with a maximum frequency of 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores running at 2.0 GHz. Pricing and launch date for the mid-range phone are still pending.
