Blackview BL5000 is a waterproof flagship gaming smartphone for just $299 USD for early buyers
Early gaming smartphones from Huawei or Asus would retail for close to a grand at launch, but the concept has matured enough by now that smaller OEMs can offer their own gaming smartphones for just a fraction of the price. The upcoming BL5000 from Chinese manufacturer Blackview promises many high-performance features including a 7 nm Dimensity 700 SoC, 8 GB of RAM, and even 5G connectivity.
To ensure high performance for long periods, the smartphone integrates a 3D copper pipe with liquid cooling not unlike what Samsung offers for its high-end Galaxy Note 20.
More information and specifications about the BL5000 can be found on its product page below. Early adopters can get the new smartphone for only $299 USD plus a pair of Airbuds 3 TWS earbuds at no extra charge. For now, applying the coupon code 'BGBVBL5000' will net users a $20 savings for an even lower price of around $279. After August 9, however, the price will skyrocket to $499.
