Deal | 4.3-inch Blackview N6000 rugged smartphone goes on sale starting at US$149.99
Those looking for a small handset that is capable of withstanding extreme conditions while providing a modern user experience can get the MediaTek Helio G99-powered Blackview N6000 starting today. Introduced one week ago, this 4.3-inch smartphone hits the global market today via AliExpress for a price of US$149.99 (first 200 units, and US$159.99 for the second batch of 200).
While the claim that this handset "might be the best mini smartphone and the most rugged phone to date" seems exaggerated, it is certain that finding a reasonably fast sub-5-inch smartphone that runs Android 13-based software out of the box is a very difficult task. Although its display only has 4.3 inches in size, it has a good resolution for its size of 500 X 1,200 pixels. The maximum brightness level of this compact display is 450 nits.
In addition to the above, the Blackview N6000 sports 8 GB of memory, 256 GB of storage with microSD support (up to 1 TB memory cards), 16/48 MP front/main camera, dual SIM connectivity, FM radio, NFC support, as well as a 3,880 mAh battery for a generous autonomy of up to 7 hours when watching videos and 22 hours phone calls.
This handset is compatible with the MIL-STD-810H standard for ruggedness and ships alongside a USB-C cable and a power adapter. The display is protected using Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and, in terms of protection from water ingress, the handset is compliant with the IP68 and IP69K specifications. Depeding on the destination, shipping might take over a month.
