Beelink launches refreshed 132TB ME Pro NAS with powerful AMD Gorgon Point APU

Beelink has launched the refreshed 4-bay ME Pro NAS in China, and there's not a big difference over the variant with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. Specifically, the only notable change is the APU.

Just like the refreshed 2-bay model, which was also introduced recently, the newly unveiled 4-bay NAS is powered by the AMD AI 9 HX 470. Compared to the AI 9 HX 370, one notable upgrade is the 55TOPS NPU, and while the new APU has support for higher memory clock speeds, the Beelink NAS is said to have support for DDR5 RAM running at 5600MT/s.

As for the other specs, they are pretty much the same as the four-bay ME Pro 370. That includes a similar set of ports, including:

• 1x 10GbE
• 1x 2.5GbE
• 1x HDMI with support for 4K at 60Hz
• 1x US4
• 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
• 1x 3.5mm audio

There are a total of four HDD bays, each of which is said to hold up to a 30TB drive. The NAS also has three M.2 slots, and Beelink says that they can hold up to a 4TB SSD each. However, it should be possible to install 8TB SSDs (4TB Samsung 990 Evo Plus curr. $575 on Amazon), and in that case, the total storage support would stand at 144TB.

Other than that, this AMD-powered NAS has two SO-DIMM slots, and Beelink notes that they can be equipped with up to 32GB of RAM. WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a compact, sleek chassis are among the other highlights.

In China, the barebone configuration of the 4-bay with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 costs CNY 4,995, about $741, which is quite affordable for the APU it comes with. There's an option with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, and it costs CNY 8,495, around $1,260. Global launch details are under wraps, but it's worth noting that Beelink didn't bring most of the ME Pro models to the global market yet.
