Ayaneo Next 2: configuration and pricing details revealed ahead of Indiegogo launch

Ayaneo has finally revealed the full specs and pricing of its flagship Windows handheld, the Next 2. The details were disclosed during its latest livestream sharing session on February 8.
The Ayaneo Next II will be available in two processor variants — a base model powered by AMD's Ryzen AI Max 385 and a higher end version with a Ryzen AI Max+ 395. The available RAM and storage will also vary depending on the processor powering it. However, the rest of the specs will remain the same.
As previously revealed, the Next II will have a 9.06-inch OLED display with a 2400 × 1504 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It will feature an 8-way D-Pad, a round smart touchpad on each side, and front-facing speakers.
Ayaneo has also disclosed that the handheld has TMR joysticks with adjustable torque, which it says is a first for a Windows handheld. The device will also feature dual mode trigger locks, four rear buttons, an advanced dual-fan cooling system, and a 116Wh battery.
The Next 2 will be launched on Indiegogo next week, and as expected, it will have an early bird price for backers before defaulting to a higher retail price tag when the crowdfunding campaign ends. Below are the available configurations and their respective early bird and retail prices:
| Processor | Configuration | Early Bird Price | Retail Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| AMD Ryzen AI Max 385 | 32GB RAM + 1TB | $1799 | $1999 |
| AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 | 64GB RAM + 1TB | $2299 | $2699 |
| AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 | 128GB RAM + 2TB | $3499 | $4299 |
All of the above variants will be available in Polar Black as it seems Ayaneo has shelved the white version that appeared in promotional images.
